We live in a society that is constantly fighting for our attention, criticizing our daily actions, tugging on our hearts, feeding our fears, growing in our weaknesses, and setting their standards for our lives. It is easy to feel confined even in a free country. There are times when it’s easier to give in to all of the noise but here’s my statement of faith, hopefully this keeps you grounded:

*My salvation is in Christ alone! It isn’t based off of anyone’s opinions or expectations of me.
*When I sin, the Holy Spirit will guide me to repentance and Christ will forgive me. I can have grace on myself.
*I am a child of God and that comes before anything and everything else, this includes race, ethnicity, culture, and gender.
*The same way I am a sinner is the same way everyone else is, no matter their sin- I can hate their sin but I will not hate them. I choose to have love and respect for others.

*God’s grace is sufficient for me, in the days when I fall short, He is strong. I may fall, but glory to Him, I will get back up.
*I will not live in the “Christian Box” that society wants to place me in. I can dress modestly and still be stylish. I can have fun and still faithfully serve my Lord.
*Christ was no doormat, He had boundaries and limits, then so will I. I will stand up when necessary, but I will not allow others to force my hand.
*I will be me, that’s the one thing no one else can ever be.
*I will learn, grow, and live in my purpose – unapologetically.
*Freedom is mine and I will thrive in it. Christ didn’t die so that I could live in chains.
