8 Free And Budget-Friendly Activities To Keep You Sane

Hey there Gems! I just wanted to remind you all to live a little. I know this year has been quite a lot to handle. With the chaos of adjusting your whole life because of the pandemic, the loss of social contact, the deaths of family and loved ones, or perhaps even a financial/emotional melt down – I can understand if you just want this year to fast forward to 2021. Trust me, I get it. 

Though this is not normally the immediate reaction in tough times, I do believe it is necessary to find a reason to smile. If you woke up this morning, then you have another shot at life so live it well! To help you out, here are some free and budget-friendly activities you can enjoy to keep you sane.

1. Go To A Nearby Park 

(Play tennis, volleyball, softball, or kickball with a few friends) 

2. Go To The Beach 

(Spend some time reading, go for a swim, collect shells or watch the beautiful sunrise)

3. Walk/ Jog A Trail  

(Go for a long walk or jog and enjoy nature’s greenery) 

4. Take A Sightseeing Drive

(This is your mini road trip so cruise luxury neighborhoods, find new spots to eat, and see what your town has to offer)

*The only cost for walking a trail or going for a drive is your time and gas

5. Visit A Spring 

(Further North past Orlando, FL you can find beautiful, fresh water springs with manmade waterfalls) 

6. Take A Boat Ride 

(You can go down south to Ft Lauderdale and enjoy a Riverboat tour or up north to Silver Springs for a Glass Bottom Boat ride over the beautiful springs)
